Following the recent unveiling of her new lifestyle brand, Celine recently launched her new handbag and accessories collection at Browns stores in Montreal. Hundreds of fans were there to attend the event get the chance to see the singer. All proceeds from that day were given to the Fondation Sainte-Justine a healthcare establishment exclusively dedicated to children, adolescents and mothers and the largest mother-child university hospital in Canada. Celine and her late husband Rene have been honorary lifetime patrons since 2002.
After the launch of her collection, Celine visited patients and staff at CHU Sainte-Justine. As a lifetime patron of CHU Sainte-Justine, Celine was involved in two major fundraising campaigns for the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation: “Growing Up Healthy” in 2002 and “Healing More, Healing Better,” which is still under way. The money raised was used to build the Research Centre and the Specialized Units Building, which Celine got to visit the same day.
