Unison, the groundbreaking debut English-language album by global superstar Celine Dion, marks its 35th anniversary in 2025. Originally released in Canada on April 2, 1990, Unison introduced Celine’s powerhouse vocals to the English-speaking world. This album laid the foundation for her rise to international stardom and launched one of the most iconic voices in music history. To celebrate this milestone, Unison is available today on vinyl for the very first time since its original release in the ‘90s. Unison brought together an impressive team of producers, writers, and composers. The album featured contributions from industry legends including Chris Neil (Sheena Easton, Mike + The Mechanics), Paul Bliss (Amy Holland), Aldo Nova (Aldo Nova, Blue Öyster Cult, Jon Bon Jovi), and David Foster (Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Chicago).
The album produced four singles in North America, with “Where Does My Heart Beat Now” becoming Celine’s first U.S. top ten hit, solidifying her as a force in the global music scene.
